Once OnRamp is complete, you enter group coaching at your OFL (Overall Fitness Level) - assessed across 15 foundational movement patterns.

You train at your level.

What type of gym is WS9 Fitness?

We are a functional fitness and strength training facility specializing in semi-private personal training. Unlike standard commercial gyms, we focus on coach-led, structured fitness programmes designed to help members move safely, build strength, and improve longevity.

I am looking for a personal trainer in Aldridge or Walsall. How does your coaching work?

At WS9 Fitness, you do not train alone. Every session is led by an experienced personal trainer. We provide the high-level accountability and tailored programming of 1-to-1 personal training, delivered within a small group environment. This ensures you get expert coaching on every single lift.

Do you offer functional fitness or Hyrox training?

Yes. Our daily programming is rooted in functional fitness and evidence-based strength training. Our equipment setup and conditioning frameworks are highly suited for individuals looking for functional conditioning or preparing for events like Hyrox.

How do I start at WS9 Fitness if I am a beginner or out of shape?

Every new member begins with our structured OnRamp onboarding programme. This features three private 1-to-1 sessions with a coach to assess your movement patterns, establish your baseline health metrics, and teach you our core exercise standards safely before you enter general sessions.

Is WS9 Fitness a weight loss gym?

We do not focus on quick-fix fitness fads. We use our signature frameworks to help members build sustainable lifestyle habits, drop body fat, increase lean muscle mass, and achieve long-term physical consistency.

Weight loss occurs as a consequence of training consistently within the WS9 Fitness system when build sustainable habits. It's not unusual for a member to lose around 10-15kg over a 12 month period when consistently training 3 x a week and adjusting lifestyle habits.

What are the monthly training costs at WS9 Fitness?

We offer two levels of monthly training - either 2 sessions a week at £112.50 or 3 sessions a week at £162.50.

Alternatively upon completion of your OnRamp 3 you can opt for a Drop-In at £20 per session.

What times are your group sessions?

Group session schedule times:

Monday to Friday, 6:15am, 9:15am, 5:15pm, 6:15pm (except Friday)

Saturday, 7:00am, 8:00am
